Barco introduced passive UHF RFID antenna series products

Barco is a European IT solutions provider, dedicated to automatic identification, bar code and RFID systems integrate and other services. It has recently launched a series of passive UHF identification antenna with circular polarization and a modular, ultra-thin design and other technical characteristics, the company claims, these antennas suitable for indoor and outdoor entrance, such as: export, corridors, interior doors and gates, to build RFID reading area.
According to the company introduction, thickness of FlexiRay SFR 2.X antenna is only 2 mm (0.08 inches), there is no connector and can be used for RFID smart shelves, smart cabinets, smart displays, smart kiosks and other embedded UHF RFID tag applications. It also work well in logistics and light industrial environments, manufacturing applications, like belt production line read. The antenna can be connected to the surface of many object, including metal to form a RFID on metal tag.

FlexiRay SFR 2.X

The frequency it works comply with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) for UHF RFID band reading distance from 4 meters to 7 meters (13-23 feet), depending on the type of antenna, reader and tag, and the cable length and the environment.
FlexiRay SFR 2.X has a variety of lengths, ranging from 585-1090 mm (23-43 inches), makes it very easy to adapt to the actual installation of the antenna
